Look where we were before the trade deadline and now.
What are you alluding to; the players became compacent, or too many additions disrupted chemistry, or 4-5 other GMs in the conferrence had better deadlines?

Others are improving, and we were impacted with injury, scandal, and suspensions.
Can we better, absolutely. But not holding my breath.

I think he's alluding to Papineau failing this team.

Let's wait until the playoffs play out before jumping the gun. Ole Bill getting antsy, can't blame him.

On a side note, points per game pace in the entire league right now Musty at #1, Cowan (Leafs prospect) #2, Dvorsky #3, Goyette #4. That's insane for Sudbury. Just mind boggling. Even more mind boggling if Wolves waste this opportunity around an offensive core like that.

Playoffs will tell the tale (Goaltending wise, coaching wise, defensively wise etc.). Hold on @billoink, we're almost there...

I think you may have highlighted the main issue, an obsession with point production.
We will see if there is any real desire to win this weekend.

Central is still up for grabs but barely. NB needs to win tonight in regulation and lose out the rest of the season. Sudbury has to win out the rest of the season.
Odds are stacked against the Wolves big time. Not holding my breath.

Sudbury Wolves have signed F Blake Clayton, their seventh-round pick in the 2023 #OHL draft. Burlington, Ont. product had 15G, 13A, 103PIM in 48GP with Brantford of the #GOJHL this season and wore an A in first season as a junior. Will play vs. Niagara on Saturday. More to come.

Vondras starts
DiGiantommaso checks back in

Also

Wolves hired Drake Berehowsky as a defense consultant.

Kudos to the wolves, harsh feelings towards Barrie? Light em up in the scoreboard.

Though... May not be a safe lead.

Walton needed to drop the gloves on that one instead of cross checking

Sounds like Giroux is hurt again.

Cant wait to see Williamson complain after this game.

I believe the most goals scored by the Sudbury Wolves in a single game is 14.

If wolves can get home ice for round one, Musty should get some serious consideration for outstanding player. Cowan probably wins though with Romani or Musty runner up.

Good statement win. The place was rocking. Refs were awful as usual.
Goaltending still needs work.
Mackenzie actually showed some passion with the Pryce penalty which was really a non penalty.
Cant believe we lost 2 games this year to that team this year.
