After how much I’ve raged about Skinner, I don’t know if I can even allow myself to feel happy for him.

I know I’m going to get a lot of flak for saying this, but I still think his success is due more to how the Oilers have to play in front of him than any natural God-given talent.

I’m enjoying the ride but with Skinner I’m trying not to feel like “waiting for the show to drop” - I can’t help it.

He's making the saves he needs to make now, even bailed us out a couple times. But his glacial lateral movement still scared me. Dallas was really trying to stretch him out in the early part of the game before the defense shut that down.

The third period was perfection. That was hockey at a higher level than that team of overrated p***yes knows.

25-28 man commitment because I think that extends all the way through the black aces. If Hyman is out at all that really sucks, but I also know that there are more than a few bodies on the bench and in the black aces chomping at the bit to step in and contribute. A year ago I would have been devastated at him being out, now I know we have guys that are going to sell out to fill the gap if need be.

Let’s go win this f***ing game on Thursday, then go win a Cup. This group f***ing deserves it and needs to go make it happen.

When McDavid has his Cup, I expect NOTHING less from Oilers fans than a picture of McDavid lifting the Cup to every criticism. “Ohh he hasn’t won! He hasn’t won!”

DeFraud needs to have people cut his food for him on the team plane because of how prone to choking he is.

People on the mains defending the guy like how in the f***? He's had two presidents runner ups. Multiple divisional winners. Every seeding imaginable. Multiple orgs with good vision and roster construction. Hundreds of different players.

Consistently across all those attempts, rosters, and personnel, his team routinely shits all over itself when the chips are down. People look at his game seven record and think, well the players are at fault for not winning it all. His systems are junk and he never changes them.

Vegas came second in the president's and then choked, then won the cup the literal next what after they fired his ass.

You can't coach goals. Dallas big problem forever in playoffs is they can't score. Thats a pretty big problem to have. Can't really say its Deboers fault that Rantanen hasn't scored a goal, hints hasn't scored a goal, Johnson hasn't scored a goal, Duchene hasn't scored a goal.

I do agree with you theres lots wrong with the Stars 5 on 5 system but its still about players not makng plays, shooting wide the majority of the time (and the Stars always do this)

If I'm a coach I start bagskating guys that shoot wide every time. That was also in that metric that in first period road games this years Stars have 80SOG on 180Shot attempts for zero goals. That is f***ing futility. You fire the plaeyrs for something like that. Mind boggling that the Stars have missed the net on 100 shots in first periods on road thus far. Thats incredibly inept.

He's been historically a strong playoff performer. But he's now playing like he was during his 100 point season.

Fairly lacklustre regular season but he’s been amazing these playoffs. Lots of players on this team are on a similar trajectory but Nuge has really stepped it up.

He's gone from a 5-6m/yr player in the regular season to 7-8m in the playoffs, he's had some good playoffs in the last few as well. Hyman same thing. These guys are the anti-Leafs, they kind of sleepwalk through portions of the regular season then take it up several levels in the playoffs.

Yeah. I've pointed this out a lot. Both should just be benched. But Dallas can't score goals at all so no matter how awful they are in the lineup.

Wyatt minutes into the third tries to get a puck by Drai at the Oilers blueline. Results in almost a GA for Oilers. Like dumb as rocks stuff. You can try that play on Drai 10X and give up and oddman rush 10X.

All Duchene does is hit goal posts, throw pucks away, loose battles.

As bad as these two have been in this series its hard to imagine that they've managed to be this bad the entire postseason.
