Stoll is our unsung glue guy. Buffalo paid a first rounder for another guy similar to him (Gaustad) and gave him a big salary. We really are fortunate to have him. Remember the last time we played the Sharks a couple years ago? Stolly was one of the guys that helped us almost upset them.

Until he got suspended.

Until he got suspended.

Also, the Kings had their best game of that series with Stoll suspended.

Still though, different time, different player. Stoll was useless then, in 2013 he is a pretty good bottom 6 energy player, and the Kings have missed what he brings.

Glad to hear he's getting better. His pk and faceoff skills have been really missed. All the faceoff losses just show how important he is around the dot. He'll be needed even more should we advance.

We lose the games where we lose in the face off circles. The team that has the most face off wins wins the game. Stoll is also the anchor to our bottom 6

Kopitar
Richards
Stoll
Fraser/etc
Is a very formidable C group. We match up very favorably against sj's pivots.

With their taking Stoll out we have nobody to really step in and anchor our bottom 6 nor do we have our key face off guy. The sharks lost a below average Torres and took out the key to our bottom 6 and our best face off guy.

It is the only reason that they are in this series at all.
