Lane Thomas has been AWFUL for the Cardinals. He always seemed to the the OF prospect they've been most reluctant to trade and he was the worst one. I'm sure he'll turn out great for the Nats though just like Arozarena and Voit did after doing much of nothing in STL.

As for Lester they needed starters since the whole rotation practically injured but it's too little too late at this point and Lester hasn't exactly been good this year,
