No, they’re not. Scandella is better than Gunnarsson and Dunn is bad defensively, which is why we keep him in a sheltered role on the 3rd pairing.

Bob Murray has already said he’s willing to take back Salary. Anaheim has 15 million dollars in free cap space by February 24th. That deal would be instantly accepted by Anaheim if they can’t get a 2020 first ++. The only thing I’m skeptical on is seeing If kase getting better in a separate deal.

To be honest, Armstrong looked at the market and tried to come to the most similar player to Bouwmeester as far as the skillset is concerned. Scandella is definitely not as good as Bouw, but he was possibly the most similar player.
