Good for Buch. 3rd round pick. Put in the work. Never bitched or complained. Nice reward for him. Drury you're an ass clown for trading him for nothing.
No, this is not Reinhart/Hedman money. Missouri is not a no state income tax team.wow thats Reinhart/Hedman money
Compare his deal to the Guentzel deal from yesterday. Guentzel has averaged 86 points per 82 games the last three years (8 points per 82 more) but he isn't in the same league defensively as Buch and will be making $1M per year more. Guentzel is also almost 7 months older.78 point pace in his time here, and 2-way play. He's earned the salary, question is how he ages compared to the term.

You think this is worse?Any people were up in arms for Elias lindholm contract .
I'd feel more than comfortable with this contract. No, this is not Reinhart/Hedman money. Missouri is not a no state income tax team.
I have a feeling this contract will age like fine milk.
Well yeah, this is a better deal than LindholmsAny people were up in arms for Elias lindholm contract .
Same.You think this is worse?
Looks like clone contracts to me.Well yeah, this is a better deal than Lindholms
6x8...
Is he worth 6x8?
Except Lindholm is coming off a much worse season, so way more risk.Same.
Looks like clone contracts to me.
Had a suberb playoffs he looked good to me.Except Lindholm is coming off a much worse season, so way more risk.
Love the player, price is a tad high (not the issue)…. Term definitely too long. He’ll be 30.5 by the time he plays his first game under this contract.I'd feel more than comfortable with this contract.
I feel like Buch has that type of game that won't suffer too much with age and he doesn't have that much wear on the tyres considering he spent long stretches of his first 2-3 years on the fourth line thanks to the genius of David Quinn and doesn't have many major injuries to speak of.
And he had a shit season. That's why the reactions are different. If Buchnevich had a season with 44 points, this would've been a horrific deal, or even Lindholm's 54 point pace while in Calgary last season.Had a suberb playoffs he looked good to me.
Nice! We'll add some enzymes and, Voila!, Buche de Chevre!!No, this is not Reinhart/Hedman money. Missouri is not a no state income tax team.
