Not bad for a thrown in for a disastrous Ryan reaves trade. Dude has become a solid NHLer. I'm sure the Penguins couldn't have used him in the bottom 6 that year.

He wants to be in St. Louis and live and play there and block shots and take high sticks to the face and draw a lot of penalties and be a fan favorite for another couple years, I say let him
Good job Doug. Sunny does pretty much anything he’s asked to do and does an adequate job. Wants to be here, loves the city. Great guy to have around in some down years.
I figured he'd be trade bait and come back in the offseason on the "David Perron" plan. $1.5M is cheap, 2 years isn't a long commitment. I'm good with this.
It's always nice when you find a good solid depth player like this, who seems to just absolutely love living in that specific city and playing for that team.
Sunny married/is engaged to a STL girl, and he loves this place. He’s spotted at every STL City game. Lovable guy, I’m glad he’s sticking around. He’ll be a positive influence on the next wave of forwards coming up.
