Thank you. Exactly my line of thinking.
PS: ...and Krug is younger than Shattenkirk, Pastrnak than Tarasenko... Tarasenko wasn't even in the NHL at 20...
Yeah because there was a lockout lol

So its settled, Pastrnak for Tarasenko. No takesies backsies.
At this point Bruins should be looking to add a scoring winger, not subtract one.
Tarasenko would've been in the NHL at 20, except there was no NHL.
Yeah because there was a lockout lol
Tarasenko would have turned 20 in the early part of the 2011-12 season, seeing he was born December 13, 1991. The 2011-12 season was normally played.
Yes and he would have stayed 20 at the start of the 2012-2013 season had their not been a lockout. He turned 21 in December 2012. The regular season would have started in October 2012, so yeah he would have been in the NHL at 20 from October to late December.
Plenty of chances for that to happen in 2011-12. If he was that good, why wasn't he in the NHL in that season?
I am having a deja vu: it feels like I am watching a 1994 movie starring Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels when I speak to you two. Go figure out which one.
That was my first post in this entire thread. We haven't really been speaking.
But inferring us as dumb when were both correct (he would've been 20 until late December, so he would have played in the NHL at 20) doesn't make you look so smart.
Pastrnak playing in the NHL at 20 is irrelevant IMO when comparing him to Tarasenko. He's had a good 20 games and looks like a promising player. Let's see if he can keep it up over 82 games before comparing him to the 2nd best sniper on the planet. What age Tarasenko started has no meaning at this point. He is a superstar today and that is all that matters. That said, I wouldn't trade Pastrnak if I'm Boston. Boston should hold onto him.
Yeah, great contribution as your first post.
Tarasenko had a chance to play in the NHL for most of his 20th year of life in 2011-12. You saying that he couldn't because the NHL wasn't playing doesn't make YOU sound smart because it is not true. From December 2011 to June 2012, he could have been there, he wasn't.
Forget about irrelevant or not irrelevant. I am saying that Pastrnak at 20 is much better than Tarasenko at 20. Pastrnak at 20 is ppg in the NHL, Tarasenko was in Novosibirsk. This is not up to debate, it is a FACT.
