Also, I'm not sure Aho and Svech have any chemistry at all. They never seem to be on the same page and the line plays worse than it should given who is on it

This has always been true. Every year the lines go in the blender because the team is playing bad, Svech ends up with Aho, they have one incredible game, then everyone says “finally! They put Aho and Svech back together!” And then they underperform for 10+ games until they’re separated again.

We've been waiting for a while for Svech to be more than a passenger who occasionally makes great plays. He might just not be as good as we thought he would be

I believe it’s mostly a svetch problem. He is not skating nor hitting the way he should & just doesn’t see the ice the way Aho does. But….aho should be much better too.
