Gotta say, none of the team looked great tonight, but Ghost especially looked all out of sorts. Probably the worst game for him this year.

Tonight was an expected loss. Two B2B in less than a week is tough. They did good to keep it close through 2. I thought Martin played well so that’s good. Oh and Svech actually hit the net for once on a top shelf snipe.

It’s a good win for NJ over a team that has been red hot to start the season. I can see why they think it shows they are a contender.

And after last year’s Devils I’d be excited over any signs of life too.

Similar to the situation NJ faced coming into Raleigh earlier this year. The games between these two teams on similar rest should be interesting.
