Stick Wax

Haha...I considered a Mini Cooper S when my old Beemer was giving me trouble. They're awesome little cars. Basically a go cart version of a 3-series BMW. Just not practical here for winters. My next car's going to be a Mazda 3 hatch, kind of a similar vehicle. 18mpg sucks.

Any hockey player needs a hatch at minimum. It's such a pain to stuff your bag and sticks into a coupe or sedan.

i agree that getting a bag in sucks, but sticks? i drive a cobalt coupe, i dont know too many cars as bad when it comes to interior space but getting my sticks in is very simple. in through the drivers door with me, blade down to the floor mat of the passenger side and shaft goes right back through the middle, you can easily get your sticks into any car.

As for was, i never thought the type of wax mattered until i tried sex wax. Handles are unreal with it. I play junior b and the difference was very easy to notice while sitckhandling. The puck simply sticks much better than ever before. Plus i have way move fun in practice and warm ups now screwing around and scooping the puck up lacrosse style. With this wax you can just barely lay your blade on the puck and you can scoop it up like your robbie schremp.

I have heard that if you buy that 3m tape and liquid shield or whatever it is you get the same effect. It leaves you with a rubbery like feel for better grip and it repels moisture real well. Our team supplies us with 3m tape and personally i hate it. very thin. But maybe with this liquid thing it holds up much better

I have the mini cooper clubman, its a little bigger than the regular version and it has the barn doors in the back and the back seats fold down. I traded in an Infiniti G37 Coupe, which was an incredibly sad day, but my gear actually fits better. I'm a big take care of your car guy so a stick bag is a must have especially with my previous 2 cars having light grey leather.

Well I tried wax for the first time today and I really didnt like it. Sure the water didnt stick as well but the tape (for me anyways) tore up all over the stick. Even though the tape gets saturated with water without the wax, I think I controlled it better without it.

I might try it.

Always...
