There's some serious value in having players on the team who grew up as Leafs fans. This quote is great. Thanks for posting it, because I missed it.

I'm expecting he'll get an extension here at some point. Because there's no reason to not have him on the team. This guy belongs on the 4th line here.

Perfect. Just need him to be a solid bottom 6 player that can eat some minutes and cause some havoc. The odd goal is nice too obviosuly, would love to see him hit 10 goals on the year when all is said and done.

I'd sign him 3 years at 1.2M. He is a damn good 4th line forward that will chip in with 10 goals a year and is currently leading the team in hits, while hardly ever going to the box.

We want people like him, Knies, McCabe, Benoit, Patches and OEL for the playoffs. Guys who hit a lot and is not a liability out there.
