Tons of great efforts tonight. Willy, Woll and Schenn were top three for me.

The worst might have been Marner in the first. I have a hard time faulting anyone's effort. Some guys fight the puck so hard, none more than Jarnkrok tonight.

If this team can play like that consistently, they can pull this off. For now, just do it for one more game.

That is true, was a complete defensive game, very very few missteps. But, no praise from me yet, we should have seen this eons ago from this group. We fight another day, win Game 5 and the pressure moves to Florida.

By Matthews' standards, he was fine... but he is controlling a lot of play even if the puck is not going in, so at least the puck is not going in our net when is on the ice. I think the goals will come, he's getting chances.

Marner did not play good. Lots of soft giveaways again, barely generated any offense, got a lucky soft goal.

I will give him credit for hitting, and being more engaged today.

That’s a shit take, he was pretty effective and made some key defensive plays. Pilling on for no reason imo.
