I'm not so sure about this drafting strategy, man. Building from the net out wins games..... but I'm not so sure about hockey pools. These dmen are going to need to be pretty explosive for you to take this, I would guess.

I'm not so sure either but I guess we're gonna find out. The weak point in pool teams tends to be getting nothing from late defence picks. You can get by with later forward picks(though obviously you'd have to strike gold to do as well as the forwards in round 3-5). I've got 3 D that should in theory do quite well, hopefully I can hit on some 5+ point guys across the board with my remaining forwards picks and it might work. 3 5 point D, 5 5 point forwards, Hart getting 8+ and Yamamoto getting 8+ could be enough to win.

Not really doing it on purpose, but Clague was by far my BPA in the 3rd round, Mete was tops in round 4 and Jokiharju was the only guy left from his tier in round 5. If there were similar forwards left I would have taken one. Now I just got to find some decent forwards to compliment them.

edit: Hoping the volatility this year works in my favour allowing me to strike some gold later with some unexpected point producers.

I think we'll shut down the clock at 9:00 PM pacific instead of 10. Having said that, feel free to keep those picks coming through the night. We've had one heck of a productive day!

I'll take that German guy, I can't remember his name. Wait, Germany isn't playing in the main tournament this year? Then why is this German guy on my list? Do points in D1A count? Hopefully they do.
