And with that the draft is complete. Now we just have to do the replacements... of which there are none.

Awww... and I made up that nice table and everything! Possibly some injuries to come with the exhibition games though. Stay tuned...

Nice work everyone, great draft as usual! Nice work @Statsy

Should be a great tournament as it is every year...lots of parody I think so our teams should be pretty even, it'll be fun to watch.

Signing off until Boxing Day...with that, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

There have been some weird roster holdouts. Possibly these players will be added in later (perhaps they're banged up), but for now the following have yet to be added to official team rosters:

Sawyer Mynio
Carson Rehkopf
Carson Bjarnason
Marek Rocak
Vojtech Cihar

We'll be taking some players in reserve in case these guys never get added

Khabby has already added Jack Ivankovic and Adam Kleber.
We need a replacement from @Tomsburninghat and @WeThreeKings and @GrandLarseny

I might just give Tom the one other Canucks defensive prospect Basile Sansonenns because that's how he rolls!

Just swap Cihar out for Ziemer USA.

We'll be in limbo for a few days while we wait for those originally picked players to either be added or outright cut. I won't be able to update the pool tonight anyway.

Hey everybody, I was able to update the standings today. It's a true Christmas Boxing Day miracle! Firstly, let's note that the non-roster player situation has yet to be resolved except for Cihar, who played today for Czechia. The rest of the players, we are still waiting on and I denoted them with an asterisk in your tables. The only replacement to actually get a point was Pinelli in for Rehkopf... which I have yet to award. So just bear in mind that GrandLarseny has another point potentially on the board.

So with that all said, Christien is out to the early lead with a big 12 point day. including 4 points from ASP. Nobody else cracked double digits, but FightingSioux got close riding Cole Hutson's 5 points. By the way, Hutson had a pretty tidy +7 game today.
Statsy and WeThreeKings are the first of a bunch of poolsters who find themselves in ties at the moment. Tom and C4G bring up the rear with 5 points, but nobody had a truly dreadful day. It's another full slate of games tomorrow as well. See you then!

Interesting day in the tournament... to say the least. The loss to Latvia by Canada (that even feels weird to type out) had some repercussions in our pool as well. In fact, multiple games that should have been wipeouts, were closer than they should have been , and that is reflected in our pool standings.

The biggest day went to GrandLarseny who collected 8 points to rocket up the standings and is now tied for first with Christien at 15 points. GL got a goalie win along with a huge 4 point outing for Wahlberg. However, the potential loss of Schaefer may be a problem. Canada4GoldButUnableToBeatLatvia also had a decent day picking up 7 points, to also do some standings climbing. He got balanced production as most of his players chipped in a point. WeThreeKings is tied with C4GBUTBL at 12 points after picking up 4 points today... but just a single from his Canadian contingent. FightingSioux and Khabby combined for just a single point yesterday, but that was paradoxically a good day from them as most of their team were inactive, and are in action today. Should be interesting to see what Latvia has left in the tank on a tough back-to-back vs USA.

Yesterday's Totals:
GrandLarseny- 8 pts
Canada4Gold- 7 pts
WeThreeKings- 4 pts
Christien- 3 pts
Statsy- 3 pts
Tomsburninghat- 3 pts
FightingSioux- 1 pt
Khabby- 0 pts

A Czech rout and a comfortable USA win were all that was on the board today. As prognosticated, FightingSioux had a big day, collecting 8 points from numerous players in action. which sends him flying up the table into second spot behind... Statsy, with a more surprising 8 points on a huge 5 point outing from Jakub Stancl. Nobody else had more than three points today. We somehow managed to not have any ties in the standings, despite the top 6 teams being separated by a mere 5 points. It's pretty close. Tomsburninghat picked up nothing today, and has fallen out of love with his team for good reason as he remains in single digits after three days. He does get some help roster wise, as Sawyer Mynio was officially added to Canada's roster to replace the now confirmed loss for the full tournament of Matt Schaefer (Sorry, GL). Marek Rocak also has been added to the Czech roster now just leaving Carson Rehkopf and Carson Bjarnason in limbo. Of course, anyone named Carson already has an uphill battle in life. It's a full slate of games tomorrow, so there will be points to be had!

Statsy- 8 pts
Canada4Gold- 3 pts
Khabby- 3 pts
