Every year we seem to struggle on the first day. Every year I try to get everyone ready for the start of this thing with reminders about when it starts, including an official specific time of the release of the draft order. I do find it quite frustrating. We could finish this so fast if we had everyone on the same page.

Ultimately we come to this same point every freakin’ year where things grind to a halt because some people go an entire day without checking in. It literally takes less than five seconds to check where we’re at, but some people don’t seem to care about the fact that others are agonizingly waiting. And yes, every year we have to start talking about the time limit. As an optimist I’m always feeling that we won’t need it this year and I’m always bitterly disappointed.

With that all said, the time limit is four hours and it will be in effect from 10 AM to 7:00 PM EST.

By the way everyone, something that came up yesterday is that tagging someone in the body of your post doesn't seem to send a proper notification. I gave up on that method a few years ago. Please send a direct message to the next guy in line.

With that said, it's everyone's duty to check in every so often just to see where we're at in the draft. We're pretty deep into the 21st century here and though we still don't have flying cars, we do have a little computer with internet on it that we carry everywhere we go.
