Welcome back to Statsy's WJC Pool for a 9th amazing year! Everyone is returning from last year so, sorry no available spots.

The draft will begin at 11:00 AM EST/8:00 AM PST/5:00 PM CET

The scoring system remains the same as in previous years, allowing each entrant to not only compete with the other members of the pool, but with your own previous drafts. Sorry, no goalie assists.

The Scoring System:
We will snake draft 6 forwards, 3 defensemen, and 1 goalie.
Goal = 1 point
Assist = 1 point
Win = 2 points
Shutout = 2 points

That’s why asked everyone for those three clean Covid tests!

Besides, it often seems like it DOES take you two weeks to make a selection.

The draft order will be released at 8:00 AM PST. Sorry if that wasn’t clear. I only mentioned it in the thread title.... and in one of my first posts (in bold)... and also in that PM I sent you. I’ll make sure to also put it on a note attached to a rock that I will throw through your window.

I've spent parts of the last 2 weeks looking at tape. As a heads up, Switzerland, Austria and Slovakia are tough to find player highlights.

I've spent parts of the last 2 weeks looking at tape. As a heads up, Switzerland, Austria and Slovakia are tough to find player highlights.

I've also spent much of the past week or so looking at tape. Duct tape is till the benchmark for most serious jobs, though masking tape's versatility is a plus. I've always been fond of scotch tape for it's easy of use and compact size.

I’m trying not to flip out about this, but this is getting well past the point of ridiculous. That randomizer is supposed to be... random. It seems like there is a flaw in the code somehow.

I actually did have a couple of fourth overall picks (though one was wasted on Filip Zadina’s one point outing of 2019. ), but other than that my lottery history is pretty terrible:
