Honestly, what it was was I seen a lot of the canadian and American defenseman picking up points in the first games back. Doughty had a 3 point night, Harley had some points, parayko, and quite a few more.

Maybe it was cause I was looking for them, but it seemed like, at least the first night especially, players picked up some points.

kinda makes sense that there’s a short term advantage for guys who were recently competing at the highest level going against players who just had a 2 week layoff.

Someone like McDavid who has logged heavy minutes all year, year in and year out, good chance he would be playing better if he had the layoff instead.

The Leafs haven't lost a game since the 4 nations faceoff and Matthews is on an 8 game point streak - so you came and said he hasn't scored... which wasn't even true and then you moved them again and again until you found something to criticize.
