I'm on my phone so I can't quote or link to websites or anything, but I feel like the stats or the players since coming back have been insane. Every game seems to be a player from that tournament putting up multiple points.

Almost like the NHL became easy mode after playing in the tournament.

How the hell do you have them at 6 games when there's been 3 days of games since the tournament?

You are definitely onto something. As said Laine is 2+2 in 2 games after 4 nations, and had 0+0 in 8 games before 4 nations.

Two games. One player.

That's a meaningless sample size.

This is just "I saw a highlight of someone scoring a goal and I'm assuming that everyone who played in the latest spectacle de jour is scoring like crazy."

Well to be fair if Laine keeps this up he will have 20+20 in 20 games. Its totally doable for Laine. He scored like 18 goals in one month some years ago.

To be fair, it's two games. You cannot make any meaningful predictions whatsoever about a player off a two-game sample.
