First, Dale Hawerchuk was awesome. Reasonable people can give him a nod over Roenick, I admited as much. Reasonable people don't make statements like "twice as good as", "no evidence he was fired or a bad developer", or whatever your latest troll argument consists of.
Second, Wayne Gretzky once told my son and 700 other people that he thought he'd be the one to break his records. It means absolutely nothing.

"Twice as good" was a figure of speech. I love Roenick as a player, but I give the nod to Hawerchuk. I have no idea what other point you are trying to make.:shakehead

Pretty good list in its own right. I think it's fair to not have Selanne at RW because he basically went on to become the face of a different franchise.

I'd personally give the nod to Khabibulin in net over Smith or Burke though.

Originally I was embarrassed at having not thought of Selanne, until I realized that it was subconscious, due to the will to forget franchise embarrassment. :(

A full all-time Coyotes team would be:

Keith Tkachuk - Jeremy Roenick - Shane Doan
Ladislav Nagy - Martin Hanzal - Radim Vrbata
Ray Whitney - Daymond Langkow - Mikkel Bødker
Dallas Drake - Antoine Vermette - Rick Tocchet

Oliver Ekman Larsson - Teppo Numminen
Ed Jovanoviski - Keith Yandle
Paul Mara - Derek Morris

Sean Burke
Ilya Bryzgalov

I'd swap Whitney and Nagy, that Whitney hanzal Vrbata line was dynamite.
I'd also find a way to get Michalek in the D, probably remove Mara.

Tkachuk - Roenick - Doan
OEL - Yandle
Khabibulin

Might be cheating with Yandle playing out of position though.

I'm with you on this except for Numminen instead of Yandle. Other than that I would vote the same way. The fact that we continue to have this psuedo Winnipeg Jets history is so ridiculous. The Jets are currently a real NHL team...all of the past Jets history should be their's and not our's Dale Hawerchuk should not be on this nor should any other former Jet. If the team wasn't back in existence, then fine...but they are, so the fact that we still claim Jets history as our's is just too silly.

Just for kicks...

How about the all-time worst Coyotes lineup?

Caveats...
  • All forwards and defensemen must have played at least 50 gamesin a Coyotes uniform
  • Starting goalies must have started in at least 40 total games for the Coyotes
  • Backup goalies must have at least played 25 total games as a Coyote.

Replace Chip with Kennedy. Rundblad with Campbell. Dahlbeck with Hale.

Tkachuk-Roenick-Tocchet was the best line I've ever seen the Coyotes ice. Too bad they didn't stick with it.

For talent, yes, but for chemistry, I'd go with 2002-03 Nagy-Langkow-Johnson... none of whom would be in the top six all-time, of course.

My unoriginal top 6 are:
Tkachuk - Roenick - Doan
OEL - Numminen
Burke (2001-02 model)

I personally do not count Ducky, I guess I am primarily thinking of the team only in AZ.

My gut reaction was:
Tkachuk - Roenick - Doan
Teppo - OEL
Burke
