Stars Jersey Tournament - Round 1 - Lights

Just an idea I had for fun. We'll do a preliminary round for both lights and darks and then the top 2 vote-getters will go to a runoff, etc.

Here's the history: (I know the inaugurals were slightly different from the subsequent years but it's just the shade of green and I don't want to split votes between them)

There's something to this.

That's why the originals are ultimately my favorite because the gold only showed up on the stitching of the crests where the thread could correctly capture the color. Whenever it was put on fabric the flat matte tone they chose didn't quite match.

The current victory era is my second choice, largely because of the green shoulder yoke.

i wish they would try again with some sort of constellation approach. i know the mooterus was an extreme failure, but there's gotta be a way to lean in the the star theme.

Those practice jerseys were some of the worst designs, and this team was stuck in poverty. Seven long seasons with the worst jerseys in the NHL.

Toss up between Star and OG.

The orginial one (pref. with the very first logo used in the first season) closely followed by the current one.

The Star patterned one had the best concept, unfortunately poor execusion sinks it for me (the logo should be removed entirely or changed as it makes the jersey too busy and it doesn't line up with the rest of the jersey)

It's also pretty much indistinguishable from the other all white practice jerseys.

Obligatory "it looks better in person". And it was done dirty by the pant selection. Pair it with say the khaki breezers from the Winter Classics and it wouldn't look half bad.

Hated the bankruptcy years jerseys both light and dark and especially those with just "Dallas" on them. Clearly my least favorites. On the light ones i probably take OG's , current ones , the Cup winning ones ( didn't like the white ones there as much ) , the wierd retro version of the Cup jerseys , and then the bankruptcy ones and in those the least favorite ones are the "Dallas" light ones .
