We've got One Line and no D.
The pairing of Trudeau and Mailloux have been horrible since the puck drop.
The PP is dysfunctional Beck wins two face offs and we quickly waste the first possession with a nothing shot from Roy.
The next possession Mailloux takes another useless attempt that ends up being one of the 3 short handed chances we gave up on that PP.
I remember last season saying how much I hated Roy manning the point we need his hands in and around the net.

Bottom line we won't get a sniff in this one unless 8 of the 10 players who aren't skating do something about it. Coming off a high after beating the Marlies and Rochester are road animals.

Laval loses 3-1. An absolutely brutal 2nd period did them in.

Rochester is really fast & Laval had issues with their speed. Only Engstrom & Beck, our 2 best skaters, didn't struggle.

Beck's 6 game point streak comes to an end.

Hughes also didn't look great at times, but he faced a ton of breakaways & 2 on 1s, too. He was good in 3rd.
