I think the only two times we've done it in the last two seasons both came against the Islanders.
We've scored quite a few goals with the goalie pulled over the last two years, it's just that the majority of them came when we were down by 2 goals, thus they didn't tie the game.

How many times do we see game in and game out Timo do the stupid, useless shit he did there at the end? Then we have to put up with the xG junkies telling us that he's playing fine. No he's f***ing not. This guy has become the epitome of everything that's wrong with this team.

More of the same this game like we had to endure since the Xmas break. The team has talent but relies way too much on a handful of players. It's basically what the Rangers have been the last few years. Look at what Markstrom can do some games to drag their ass to victory when they struggled infront of him. They played really well prior to that break with the same roster. It wasn't a fluke but when you struggle to score, you are going to run into these games.

I think it's still a little early with Timo to be calling for his buyout.
But let's see what happens next season.
I'm more annoyed at the fact that we have Brendan Smith Dillon signed for two more years after this at FOUR million. The guy is turning 35 early next season.
Haula CAN'T be here after this year. He's about as done as Cory Schneider was at this time in 2020. It's non-negotiable. DONE. I don't care if his turf toe was the reason for his drop in play or he had a virus. DONE. GONE.
Buy his last year out, cap dump him, do whatever you gotta do. You can sign somebody way better for probably a little more than what he's getting for next year.
Him on a 3 year deal was always probably gonna be a risk, but he went from 33 to 38 in just a few months.
Dougie and Palat? I think we're getting one more year of each. It probably won't be pretty, but hopefully it won't be too bad.

At this time we definitely need scoring help.
But I'm not too confident we're getting anything other than a 3rd liner who will probably help, and some defensive defenseman who don't even want anyway, to be a Siegs placeholder.

They could have used the cap space and assets for a different player who maybe would have been a way better fit.

That’s kind of why the panicking about finishing loses me. Yes it needs to be better, but our likely matchup are notorious non finishers and we have better goalies.
