I dont even know how to fix it mid season. Even if you somehow upgrade 3C, you'd still have 2/3 of Palat/Mercer/Noesen playing top 6 minutes. All while the cap is super tight.

Best bet is that Marky goes crazy mode cause good goalie can mask any other issues.

I actually don’t think the cap is that big of an issue. The 3C pickings are sooooo slim though I really don’t see anything good out there. RoR would be great but he’d fetch a haul with how much term he has left. Then on top of that we need a top 6er. It’s a hard fix in season. I also don’t trust Fitz to fix it considering he got us into this mess in the first place with his dog shit forward evaluations.

It's just a travesty that Harris and Blitz allowed Lou to callously fire Pete the day after Christmas. Pete will never agree to come back as long as as Harris owns this team. Honestly, this is probably gonna be my steamiest take EVER in the history of these forums.

But I’m almost fine with punting this season, because I don’t think I really trust Gerry Fitzgerald Ford to ice a contender here. And he’s gone if we miss the playoffs, because the chants will be uglier than anything you’ve seen in the season finale.

I’m just afraid we’re gonna get someone we don’t want as the GM.

I’ve been feeling this for a long time.
