What a snipe by Tarasenko.

Just an observation but that is twice now he has shot low glove or armpit area for a snipe. Maybe he is realizing he needs to adjust where he aims. The corner snipes, which have been his bread and butter, he struggles with and misses the net more often than not.

Lots to be happy about in this game: The continued improvement of The Russian Line, the Parayko-Mikkola (new shutdown pairing), The great 4th Line (energy line), Lindgren staying hot, Tarasenko and Parayko both looking the healthiest they have since their last injuries, The Blues PK teams playing better and better, Toropchenko and Peca looking more comfortable in NHL play.

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: if Logan Brown uses his butt consistently, he’ll score 20+ goals. Once he gets his back to you and leans forward near the crease, you aren’t getting the puck from him. If he can stand to play that way, he’ll be the next Pat Maroon that we’ve needed so desperately

Good point! Tarasenko does it well but skating away from the guy not into him. Not sure Brown has the skill to do what your suggesting, takes a lot of foot work and balance. Maroon was a master at it though to bad he isn’t here to give the kid some lessons!
