One thing not to underestimate is that many of these young guys like Ver and Luo and even Duke may not have a full season stamina yet. Barky had that issue in the first playoffs. It takes a while to get there.

Luostarinen for sure has a learning curve, first year in the nhl. Really hope he can still develop another gear since he's just 22. Duke and Ver are 25 though, I don't think there's a problem.

Blue Jay Way..
Looking at the numbers, the fourth line was surprisingly productive. I recall one moment when Lomberg had the puck a bit awkwardly but gathered it really quickly to get a shot off, which was a nice example of them having an attacking mindset. The key to that second period is surely to have all four lines relentlessly attacking and it's nice to see that we have players who can do that. There was an obvious strategy in the off-season to improve the depth of the team to better fit Q's desire to roll all lines, and it's neat to see how that looks on the ice when it really works.it i

It will be very interesting to see if it is repeatable in the next two games, or if Dallas can either push back or slow us down.
I stand by my take that at the end of the season, we will see Lammer surpass Starboy.

This is a Panthers hockey board. If we don't criticize our players, coaches and management, who exactly do we criticize? If this was a message board full of oblivious cheerleaders, it would cease to exist.
My point rather was that on such a night when basically everything clicked and for once we could just enjoy a great performance from goaltender to 4th line forward, the casual or fulltime Panthers fan needs to find something to criticise. If Bob was not the backup goalie, nobody would have had this opportunity.

Driedger’s first goal was probably a softie but he shut the door after that. Nice job.
He's been doing that lately - give up a bad goal then shut the door the rest of the game. Would prefer no bad goals but if it's part of his process I'll take it :D

This team is fun :)

but what's his breakaways/60?? highlights/60??? I'll bet his disappearance/60 is off the charts too

I need to learn more about these stats to comment, know anyone that can learn me?

Maybe seeing Drieger have success will take pressure off Bob to feel like he needs to carry this team and live up to the contract.

This is the first time of my Panthers fandom that the sum of our team is better than the team of all our players: we no longer rely on one line each game. We don’t get bullied. We play okay talent.

sure I wish Bob didn’t make a billion to be a backup and we might need another center until the GOAT comes but we are doing wel!
