Not even he cared. If this is referring to age of jedi which was based on a CD-ROM, not technically canon.God put guys like Sam Witwer on the planet for a reason

It's one of the dumbest things in all of Star Wars (even for episode 2 standards, which is remarkably dumb already). No idea what that is.

In episode 2, George Lucas wrote a note about the cloners talking about "Sido-Dyas" (an obvious pseudonym for Darth Sidious), but in one of the drafts there was a typo that said "Sifo-Dyas" and they decided to just stick with it.
Then Dave Filoni and co tried to write a whole backstory to this ridiculous typo, weaving it into Clone Wars.
But ultimately it just creates more absurdities and plot holes regarding how the Jedi came to accept the clone army from the Kaminoans without knowing it was a Sith plot. Both halves of this story are perfect examples of the "over-explaining problem" that Star Wars has, and how Lucas and Filoni are two the chief culprits behind it.

Are you trying to say Tony Gilroys isn't a perfect writer????!!for those interested in how Star Wars tosses stuff out there not realizing it is in the wrong time frame for stuff. Watch the latest New Rockstars video on the first 3 episodes of season 2 and they take a few moments to say "hold on here, that should not be there yet" a couple of times in the video
For such a competent organization that was always on top of things like the Jedi Order it was shocking they'd fall for something so obvious.
I was being sarcastic. My point was more the Jedi aren't exactly known for being at the top of their game during the prequels. I do think they've gone a bit far in just how incompetent they've been portrayed at times, but on the scale of things that annoy me in Star Wars the Sifo Dyas stuff ranks pretty low.I think it's been made pretty clear that the Jedi Order isn't a militaristic hierarchical organization in the traditional sense.
A lot of Jedi go out and do their own thing.
Enough talk about dumb Jedi Star Wars and more talk about awesome Andor Star Wars.
I was going to suggest those posts could've been moved to the general Star Wars discussion thread but I guess not.I asked the mods to clean it up and they said no![]()
I enjoyed the wheat field arc (forgetting the planet name) had some really cool camera shots and intense moments with Bix.I probably had the wrong expectations of how these 3-episode arcs were going to be told, but I didn't find this first one to be that great. Felt like it was setting up more for the later arcs than anything, when I presumed they would all feel like 3 separate mini-seasons. It's fine, just thought it'd be a bit more interesting.
Yeah, I agree the scenes on Mina-Rau were good. I just felt these 3 episodes probably should have been condensed down to 2. Having Cassian stuck as a captive on that jungle planet for an entire episode with that idiot band of guerillas was a real waste of time, and I don't think I'll feel different about that even as this season goes along and gets better.I enjoyed the wheat field arc (forgetting the planet name) had some really cool camera shots and intense moments with Bix.

Repeating myself here, but people who have seen all the episodes have said this was their least favorite arc. It gets better in this week's arc. Apologies for repetition.Yeah, I agree the scenes on Mina-Rau were good. I just felt these 3 episodes probably should have been condensed down to 2. Na I completely agree with you. Cassian being stuck could of taken up 1 episode tops.Yeah, I agree the scenes on Mina-Rau were good. That plot line felt like it existed just to give the hero something to do and inject some action into the first few episodes. It was the most exciting story arc, but it was ultimately disappointing that Cassian ended up right back where he started. You could easily cut the whole thing.Yeah, I agree the scenes on Mina-Rau were good. I just felt these 3 episodes probably should have been condensed down to 2. I wasn't bothered by it. Without it this first trio would be very discussion/character heavy. Don't get me wrong. I like discussion and character but it is Star Wars so injecting some action makes sense even if it might not have greater story purpose. That plot line felt like it existed just to give the hero something to do and inject some action into the first few episodes. I felt like the point was to showcase how amateurish some sects of the rebellion are. IIRC, Rebels showed that too. That plot line felt like it existed just to give the hero something to do and inject some action into the first few episodes. I wasn't "bothered" by it, just disappointed that it ended with things right back to how they were. If he had escaped with his contact, one of the guerillas or an important item or piece of information, then it could've served a story purpose in addition to being a fun, action-y story line.I wasn't bothered by it.
