when trying to predict future games how come people can't take into account the scoring chances teams get....... beyond me that people have no clue about this

not even taking other playoff games into consideration. Just look at the Leafs series against Habs and CBJ. Your so called "chances" model would have Leafs beat both of them handily but Leafs didn't!

That is an actual event coming to pass completely destroying any "expectations"

Good playoff teams typically react positively coming off a bad game, especially Tampa over the last two years. Do you really think they had to watch hours of video to figure out how to respond tonight?
