It is wildly hilarious seeing Sens fans hold onto 5v5 play like a precious baby after game 1 when all season they were a average-straight up bad 5v5 team offensively where as we were good. They should be terrified that we dusted them in a game that according to them...we didn't play well at even strength lol

Awesome GDT!! Need to keep the foot on the gas. I'm predicting a 5-1 Leafs win. They score early and the little wannabe tough guys on the Smes lose composure again and let the game get away from them.

I expect we won't get to abuse them with special teams as much as we did in Game 1, and they'll probably be desperate to get the split before going back to Ottawa. It would be reeeeaaal nice to get to Ullmark early and sow that seed of doubt.

They should be terrified that we dusted them in a game that according to them...we didn't play well at even strength lol

Leafs played exactly like they did in the regular season. They usually always lose the shot clock battle, they will always give up the shots and space from outside and collapse near the net. Sens fans can talk all they want about better 5-5 on play but I’m not sure how true that is. Leafs looked calm, poised and they destroyed Ottawa in special teams.

A lot of the 5on5 conclusions from game 1 seem to ignore score effects.

I don't think the Leafs were great at ES in game 1, but this idea that the Sens somehow dominated and it was just special teams that turned the tide, is a bit strange.
