My god Ottawa has a brutal bottom 4. Granted Sanderson and Chabot are legit but who the hell is that playing on the 3rd pair? Berube has to take advantage of that. You gotta run their bottom guys every chance.

Sanderson is a good one. Don’t want to give him much room in the O zone. He’d be the guy to key on physically.

the datsyuk of my childhood lol. he was awesome.

A prime Datsyuk couldn't hold a candle near prime Mogilny.

Mogilny was just an aura you can't make sense of. He had to slow his game down so his team mates can keep up with him.

Mogilny actually never played 82 games. He always missed around 15-25games a season and some half of season

The main takeaway is that a Game 1 loss, even at home, isn’t a death sentence.

And home ice doesn’t mean much until game 7. The Leafs won all three road games against Tampa two years ago.

With Tampa, when we won the first game 5-0, we lost the series in 7 but the following year we lost the first game 7-3 and we won that series in 6. So who knows what to think.

A series isn't won with 1 game regardless of the outcome tonight. Lorentz said it best, it's a marathon. You go a game at a time.

Howdy Ho's !!

Well we've waited all year for this. Berube hockey produced a much better regular season than I expected. In theory, we now don't have to change our style of play to succeed. So can we withstand the pressure, both on and off the ice and become what we all envisioned 8 years ago when this group was formed? We are going to find out. As we all know though, we are in for max pain, this franchise knows no other way. We HAVE to get on a roll from the get go. The demons are too strong to play from behind.

I think it's important to win both games at home here just to make life a little easier. Yea, lose game 1 and the pressure becomes even bigger.

I think it is typical thing where fans start something organically...our corporate over lords take a bit of time to sink their teeth into it...but sink their teeth into it they did...and it forever loses the magic that mad it be a thing in the first place.
