McDavid is struggling in this playoffs. He was fine in the 1st round I think but after that he’s been rather bad or average

It's actually true. The Oilers longer term players have played against this guy so much they know exactly how to attack him and how to beat him.

IMO he won't be nearly as effective in this series.

I guess the strategy of beating Dallas is playing the same low event defensive game like they do. Avs kept playing their fast paced trying to score every shift game and ran out of gas. Gotta slow it down against a team like the Stars and play more of a patient game

I'm starting to believe Bednar might've been asking the guys to chip and chase but they weren't doing it. He used the word stubborn to describe the players a few times this post-season and I've been wondering if this is what it was about.

I wouldn’t be surprised. Asking Nate to play a dump and chase hockey is like asking @The Kingslayer to believe Makar is better than Hughes. It just can’t happen

I’m good with the Panthers. I live down here now so it’s fun and my son is growing up watching the Panthers. Would be a good consolation prize to see him excited about a big win

Mackinnon is the ultimate perimeter player. It takes balls to drive the net the way McDavid does.

The Oilers have hit the Stars more time this game than the Avs did all series. I even saw Heiskanen bail on a puck in the second period. Avs are pretty soft team without LOC and Landy.
