Amazing the things the rags have gotten away with that have been instant penalties for the pens. It's been a long time since I've seen a series this biased.

Without question. It was close, but not anymore.

The first 5 periods of Vancouver/Calgary was pretty terrible (but I might have had my opinion swayed by a pretty lackluster crowd in Vancouver), NYI/Washington wasn't great but is improving and Detroit/Tampa still is overwhelmingly meh but at least it's because Tampa's run the play or Mrazek's putting on a show.

This NYR/Pittsburgh is a lot of turnovers and a lot of NYR powerplays.

Just for fun, if I had to rank:

1. Chicago/Nashville
2. Anaheim/Winnipeg
3. Montreal/Ottawa
4. Vancouver/Calgary
5. St. Louis/Minnesota
6. Washington/NYI
7. Tampa/Detroit

There's no excuse to be choosing NYR/Pittsburgh over Montreal/Ottawa tonight

Probably the worst of the 4 games so far, but the hockey is still miles ahead. And it's an elimination game.

Ottawa crowd is quiet... but I remember that quiet tension, borderline comatose feeling from Game 6 OT in 2012. So I get it.
