Both teams need a win tonight for different reasons. It should be lower scoring and more tight checking tonight.

I'd say everyone not living in Vegas are Canes fans in this series. Carolina has been through a lot and a cup would be much deserved.
As a relatively neutral observer, I like certain individual players on Vegas more than on Carolina. Carolina and Vegas both have depth, but Vegas is heavier towards the top of their lineup IMO. Marner, Eichel, and Stone in particular. They have two-way skill as well as a clutch-factor. Carolina is very admirable in terms of their depth, team morale, group identity, and coaching though.

Hertl is good veteran player as well that I like a lot.

Goaltending and defense are a wash.

I'm a Vegas fan who doesn't live there but I go there several times per year and have seen about 10 games live. I think that Vegas as a tourist destination has created a lot of fans like me.

On a different note....I can't understand how Vegas has been viewed as such an underdog in this series. The top end forwards for Vegas are better than Carolina's and their top 9 is very strong. If Carolina has an advantage on defense (I don't think that they do) it's very minimal and the goaltending doesn't seem to favor either team as both have played well throughout the playoffs.

I think there are a decent amount of people who view Vegas as an "underdog" based on their regular season record of winning the "pillow fight division" with having won only 39 out of their 82 games.

I would like to see them win......
but am pretty sure they won't.

Knights have won 7 straight......3 wins away from Cup. Will get better every game.
Too tall and order for the Canes. Especially with that first line problem

Stealing both road games would be absolutely massive and give us such a leg up, if we could do it once despite playing optional defence against Ehlers for the first 10 minutes we can do it again

I'm sensing OT tonight solely to screw over our watch party host who has a Zoom interview at 8 AM
