Talk a a moment I will never forget. Being at the game and watch all of this go down is surreal. I'm proud of these guys, they did it. They made it to the finals for the first time in 49 years and for me my whole life. We still have one more series to win but it feels so good to be able to say that we are here. Every round they advanced in, I was there for it. Now I hope to see them get finally the big one.

Blues over came everything, from going from worst to best of the west. What a story in itself and all the other stories that are a part of this. Take in the moment but stay focus, there still 4 more wins to go get but what a moment.

Congratulations on a tremendous series, Blues fans, and thank you for killing the Jumbo Joe Thornton Revenge dream! I did not want to listen to incessant yak on the radio about him for the next two weeks.

That being said, you have another shot 49 years from the last one. Game 1 in the same city that Game 4 ended in 1970.

I’m thinking this is going to be a long, grueling series.

See you Monday.

I'm seeing a lot of "they did it" posts, and part of me feels the same way, but it will be a pretty empty feeling if they don't win it all. I'll still be proud of them, and it will have been a great season, but we can't stop here. There's still unfinished business. Optimism does not come naturally to me at all, but I just feel like the Blues will find a way even if the Bruins probably have a better roster(which I also said of Winnipeg and San Jose, admittedly). Somebody is going to step up big when we really need it. Binnington will stand tall and someone like Barbashev or Blais or Bortuzzo is going to come in clutch. I just feel it. Keep going, Blues! One more series win and then I don't care if you never win another game as long as I live. 4 more wins and they can build a statue of Pat Maroon and Joel Edmundson for all I care. 4. MORE. WINS!

Congrats Blues, well deserved. I just won $600 on the Blues. I picked all Blues players in my hockey pool at start of playoffs. I always thought you guys deserved a better fate

And don't take this the wrong way , but your roster has the most Canadians on it so you will have most of Canada hoping for ya. I'm pulling for ya. It has been proven in the past, you win with Canadian boys.
I'm a big fan of Maroon (Good local St.Louis boy). Met him in Tampa when he was an Oiler. He is a class act. He was loved in Edmonton and he actually liked it there
Did local people see Maroon play when he was younger?

Just curious, how much are tickets?

Woke up and this still hasn’t hit me yet! Monday is SO far away but let’s take the next few days to enjoy this, we deserve it. However the job isn’t done yet, we want the cup for the FIRST time and we ain’t letting no bear or ‘rat’ (lol) get in the way! LGB!

Been telling myself all playoffs that I’ll make my way down from Ontario to watch us if we make the cup final and have a cup clinching game/games. Looks like I might have to start planning my trip real soon.

I'll get this out of the way now because I'm sure I'll start to build up hatred very quickly this series. This has been my dream Final for a while now. For about 10 years now I saw the Blues play and it reminded me a lot of how the Bruins played, and I think the same thing rang true for a lot of Bruins fans. I remember when Oshie took out Krejci with a clean hit leading to a concussion and a lot of us weren't even mad, it just made us notice Oshie as a good player.

Funny that there are still a lot of parallels. Selke centers, unbelievably talented yet slightly enigmatic top RWs, undersized but shifty top LWs, big power forward on the 3rd line, a huge reliance on the 4th line, mobile do-it-all top RDs, gargantuan and defensively dominant 2RDs, really solid goalies, etc.

Here's to a great series, any other year I'd love to see you guys win but not this year.

I just woke up, turned on the radio to 101, and they were playing an update that said the Blues are going to the Cup Final and I just broke down crying.

Remember December? How the hell are we here? This team was dead. 100% and completely cooked. Bouwmeester was finished. Maroon was gonna be traded any given moment. Nothing had gone right for team except ROR. Our defense was a sieve.

I'm just... I'm so confused.
