I didn’t realize about Stone. Just looked it up and they activated him for Game 1 of the playoffs. Gross. However, they used his LTIR to add players at the deadline but the only deadline add I’ve noticed playing is Barbashev and his annual cap hit is only 2.2 million, so it’s not as bad as the TB shenanigans.

Gallagher could have done something if the rest of the team was better. It's sad but he's done at a relative young age. Smallish players get old faster because that sport is brutal.

I think it's more s combination of the rough style of play he played and the change in the rules that had faster and more skilled players excel. Plenty of bigger guys got old fast, like Lucic, Ryan Callahan, Ryan Cloud, David Clarkson, etc...
