Marchessault has made the best goalie of these playoffs his bitch. Talent>>>>>>>>anything else first and foremost.
Marchessault is the only guy on that roster under 6"...

And he's a small dog, he's playing like he's 6'3.

He's not a good example when you're trying to tell me skill trumps everything IMO.

Lots of depth in that Vegas lineup, it's hard to beat that in a best of 7 series. You can shut down one line pretty easy but when all the lines are scoring you just can't do much.

I mean you also think Kaprizov sucks in the playoffs despite having 7 goals in 6 games last year lol. It won't matter me trying to convince you with a mentality like that. You are overcomplicating it big time. Vegas has gamebreaking talent, just like Michkov. Other factors like size help for sure, but they got here because of how skilled their top players are. Also to assume that Michkov is just some perimeter pansy shying away from physical contact just shows you don't know anything about his game.

It's extremely tough to build a team like that, expansion draft here we come lol

Florida looking exactly like the 2021 Habs vs Tampa.

Folding like an old lawn chair in SC Final.

This is beautiful.

EDIT: As I say that, they score the luckiest, more Florida'est goal ever.
Of courseeeeeee

Tkachuk is done. Can't be as effective as Florida needs because of a big hits.

It's the main reason I advocate for physical players.

Should the Habs be good again a good, clean body check can help, or change a series.

Love the banter!

I never said Kaprizov sucks as a player, he's great and all but he was still a minus player at the end of the day...

Was it his fault or not, I'm not that invested in that club.

Vegas has been ruthless, they acquired big name by being super aggressive in trades/UFAs, they also lost big names for nothing with 0 f*** given.
But they made the finals right after the expansion draft for god sake!

It just shows you how a solid team with no weaknesses can get you far.

Michkov isn't a soft player. He's strong on the boards, and controls the puck really well. He's a little bulldog himself who isn't afraid of contact. He gets physical and always attacks the middle of the ice. He's short, but stocky with thick legs that enables him to drive past people.

Well yeah ok, I see what you meant.

Their first run was pretty much gifted to them by the other GMs handling the expansion draft in the dumbest way imaginable. Lots of geniuses ended up paying to be wrong.

I still remember this:

People look at his size and assume he's soft

Draft that little Russian bulldog Kent b'y. You'll be happy you did in 4 years.
