Laviolette is not infalliable, and some of his decisions were suspect and stink of too much trust in vets, like rolling with McLeod and Fiddler on the road.

St. Louis Avs Fan here. Great run Preds fans. Your boys played their a**es off all post-season and they should be proud of giving the Pens (and their referee buddies) all they could handle. I gotta say, I've lost so much respect for the league with the blatant favoritism the refs always show Pittsburgh. Did any big call go against them in any series? I don't think so. I guess the league has to hype up Sydney & Herman Munster Malkin as long as they can to make more $$$. Sickening.

I continue to be baffled by our pp set up as well. That's the one time where two defensemen can switch sides and set both up for one timers. Since we love to do that, we're purposely shooting ourselves in the foot by playing two left and right shot defenseman together. There were openings, especially on the last two pps for one timers but by the time a defenseman got the pass and then turned himself towards the net, the shot was no longer there.

I believe most of the opportunities were for Ekholm. If it's Ellis or Subban instead, we can probably get a one timer through. Not to mention that it makes defending that much easier. You're going to cheat to the side where the one timer is possible to stop it knowing that if the pass goes back, you have a little bit of time to get back before the shot can be set up.

I can't even imagine what you're going through losing to that **** team. Luck is always a factor but that was absurd. The Stanley Cup means less today than it did yesterday because that team won it. I'm crushed, myself.

But anyway, I wanted to thank the Predators. It's rare that I get that into it when the Rangers are eliminated but I was that into it. I had a lot of fun.

European fans make fun of us because of our relative lack of atmosphere, but Nashville is as good as anything they do in soccer.
