I looked at the remaining games and don't see the B's as constructed winning more than 3 games to seasons end! To watch the standings is a waste of time, if Crosby, McKinnen, Makar, and Ekman Larsen quit their teams to join the B's we MIGHT have a chance to sneak into the POs!
One of these players is not like the others.

The tank is on now

EIther way, with Coyle and Feddy also gone, the top ten pick is easily in reach. LFG with the tank!
The Bruins moved into a top 10 draft position tonight with Utah's victory. The Habs have 2 more points than the Bruins. Next up, the Islanders, Philly and Anaheim.

Bruins are actually aiming at 8th or 7th worst record, that is attainable. The points percentage games played have them 9th right now, Philly and the Ducks can pass them and the Islanders are ahead in that category.

The Red Wings have collapsed yet again in March

Detroit dominated Ottawa last night and Ullmark absolutely stole that game. I can't see Detroit sinking below Boston. Wings took a big hit last night but did the same thing last year but regrouped down the stretch and came close to last PO spot. How Yzerman can sit there with Justin Holl as 3RD and not gotten Joker like Sweeney did is head scratching.

My heart wants a roll, my head wants to watch it burn.
I had them at 3 wins to seasons end before the TD and obviously TBL were not one of our wins. The way they looked with the new players brought in they may just make a run for it. Hoping for entertaining hockey to seasons end but would like to remain in the bottom 10 for best possible draft pick.

So the team is not going to go out and try to lose (nor do I want them to do that) but they will likely play sub .500 the rest of the way. Realistically, and based on what other teams do of course, it looks like we could draft as high as 7? I don't see them ending up wose that the Pens and below, whatever happens.
As long as they're in the top 11, they have a chance at the 1st overall pick.
