I think Freddy is at his potential. It's his 7th year in the NHL, what you see is what you get. Yes he may have a career year and score 25, but looks like he is a career 15 - 20 goal a year player. Not bad, just a solid 3rd liner, so spend accordingly.
With the way the cap is going up what do you feel is appropriate?

Winning at home losing on the road going sort of .500 will not get them in looking at how Detroit and Ottawa have both risen and Tampa is still in there. There's no way I see this team getting on a long winning streak which is what it would take.

Sell. Sell big.

Sweeney won't sell by March trade deadline. They have enough teams left on schedule they will beat to keep them with in hailing position of WC 2.

Only question is if he trades #1's to patch holes upfront.

They will flame out on Cali roadie. They have shown themselves to be massive homers.

What happened to that fourth line that could score some goals early on in the season.

Right? Beecher and Koepke cooled way off, and Kastelic got moved around a bit, then got hurt (and he still doesn't look quite right out there). It was a short but sweet time for those guys.
