Standing room only "seats" - what's the play?

  • Wait until after the 1st after scouting it out, then glide down into an even better seat.

Probably something that's been covered elsewhere,
but I couldn't find any thread about seats at the Rogers Centre etc.

So I have standing room only seats - 320 S section - going on Wed to see if our Leafs can tame those Panthers. My question is, for those who have done this before or have more experience than I . . . what's the "move" in terms of best viewing experience?

Do I just wait half a period and then take two free seats in the upper section?

Do I get there early and hit the bar there (I forget the name) where you can watch the game from there? (but I'm not sure if it's only paid for seats there or not).

Or is there another option other than just standing there - which I'm not overly fond of, at least not for more than a period.

As someone who sits up near the top, one of the more annoying things is when people sit in seats they haven't paid for and then inevitably when they have to move, they block the view of those trying to watch the game in the rows behind them.

Too old to attend anymore live events, I enjoy the lazy boy, big screen hd view, beer in the fridge, replays and background info. When I was younger sure going to games and hitting the bars after was fun.

Well, that's why I'm apt to use discretion and intelligence so that doesn't happen.

Too bad you didn't have any nice advice to give!

I'm just over 50 and it's my last minute birthday purchase - so just reliving the young man vibe with my good buddy.
It's all good!

So that said, had no problem with it, thrilled to be at game, and you get a huge game too. Grab some beers, sight lines are great, glg, enjoy the hell out of it and wish I was there too
