yeah its time to sit JB for game 3. really have nothing to lose, thats a stoppable shot right there.

I don't necessarily disagree, but the last time we saw a HC try that with a goalie (2016 WCF with Allen starting and Elliott being benched) was that move when Elliott wasn't the problem.

I'm not sure if Binnington's the problem here.

“Was” being the operative word. My question is what does he do well right now?
In "OUR" system he doesn't do anything. He's more of a playmaker in an offensive orientated and speedy play style. We're more of a Crash the Boards and wear them down play style. Put him on a team like Edm, Tor, or Pit he would flourish.

We seem to think that open shot outside of the faceoff dot that they keep conceding is a good chance. Our power play differs quite a bit from theirs that way. They actually get it into the slot.

The coaches don’t think he’s good enough to be on our PP. I just don’t buy this. He’s not good.

Binny was definitely a problem in game 1.

And i dont think keeping elliot in the net instead of benching him would have changed the outcome of that series anyway.

He was a 3 time all star with the Hurricanes. And he would definitely do much better in a more offensive orientated system.
I agree and disagree. He was a 3 time all-star partly because the system needs a player from every team, and Faulk was the best Carolina had. He got most of his points in Carolina on the PP, and had terrible +/- every year except his last one there. He would be okay on a team that could put him on the 1st PP unit all the time, and pair him with someone really good defensively. Carolina did this by putting on with Slavin and Pesce.
