I'm reminded of 2011 draft when Couterier slipped. He had been highly touted but scouts decided he wasn't dynamic enough and kept falling. He has become great all around player. I can see Wright doing same.

That’s a great comp to what’s going on.

Wright can still be a #1C capable of scoring 70+ points. It’s silly to not select him because he didn’t wow the world like Mathews or McDavid.

What the hell are the Islanders doing by trading #13 for Romanov and a 2nd? That seems like a terrible deal for NYI.

Starts getting unpredictable after 6. Columbus makes the last of the obvious calls...
Agreed - big thing tonight is how far the Russians may fall (Yurov and Miroshnichenko) - I see Columbus picking one of those, but the Russian factor (more real than ever now) is huge at the moment.
