Without fail, the guy who Fish said was the worst starter in the OHL begins playing solid hockey, and even scores a goalie goal.

Hey fishy, would you mind choosing "the hounds will never win a cup in 2027" as your next hill to die on? Asking on behalf of the rest of us.

I hope there was a nolan chant! Kid has played really good the last 3 games with almost 180 mins of shutout hockey and caps it off with a goal? If that doesn't deserve a chant, I don't know what does lol.

Who’s our goalie? Love the Lalonde goal but miller is just wasting away on the bench. Typical Soo problems. We won’t win in 2027 if they don’t figure goaltending issue out.. Lalonde can’t come back as a super OA.

Although the intelligence level amongst our fans is very low. I spoke to someone at the game who thought Lalonde would be here the next two years, so, yeah there’s that.

You must be fun at parties. Most people who attend junior hockey games are just regular hockey fans who could care less about the intricacies of how junior hockey operates and probably dont know the age and eligibility of every player in the league.

I am pretty fun.

Yeah most(not all) fans could care less about winning, I know. It’s becoming much more obvious as the years go on.

Everytime I ask this question I get the same nonsense response and no one can answer correctly.

Maybe Raftis will blow his load on Carter George next deadline or something………. I’m excited to get into what is supposed to be a big run with 0 proven goalies. In fact as it stands we’re going into it with only 1 goalie, and he sits on the bench still this isn’t a knock on Lalonde, he’s playing great. It’s a knock on management.

I guess they don't have a lot of faith in Miller? They gave him the opportunity to take the starters job this season and he faltered badly and repeatedly.

The org overvalued him by picking him in the 2nd round. Maybe he's not the guy. That's on Raftis, not Miller.

Personally I'd rather not have a goalie taking up an OA spot in 2027 so maybe it's time to start exploring some 2007 born tendies.

It sure seems this way. I don’t feel they gave him long enough of chances though, he’s never had a chance to play out his bad games.

To be fair I'd wait till thr following year and go for ivankovic. Team will be heavy on 19 year olds and if they develop well, we won't have much need for anything other than a tender. I can't see them going with miller as their starter in a go for it year. He won't be able to play the bottom feeders teams only and have decent numbers. But I don't want to start that argument again lol. So I can't see Miller being in their plans if he isn't starting in an experience year.

I don't think Matier has been with the Rogers broadcast team this season. It's been 2 local media legends in Gino Cavallo and Jim Fitzpatrick.

The team did not want him renewed as his commentary would leave the team in a negative light at times ( is what I’ve heard). Pretty reliable source close to the team, so take it as you want…. They(Roger’s employee) posted his position in the fan club on Facebook.

I’d imagine this is why other OHL fans liked him so much.

I'm not sure next year will be that important. If it was strength of roster, we should be one of th projected top teams in 2 years. Saginaw wasn't at the top the year we both bid were they? I can't remember but i thought they were midpack?

I think we should be in good shape tho

Man our 1st powerplay line is rough. Lots of talent but can't seem to get it together enough to gel.

And man, bonk whines about everything lol. Talented kid for sure but holay, give it a rest.

It's nice to see what a strong forecheck can do. London has us in fits.

We let everyone break out with ease while trying to trap the neutral zone. So boring.

Big bodies like charron and Martin could do some damage on a string forecheck
