The Soo
drew will find something in the pro ranks. he'll be fine.

st. louis is in the post-stanley cup decline and no coaching change will fix that imo. teams try to avoid a rebuild but for st. louis, pittsburgh, boston etc it feels inevitable. firing coaches doesn't change your roster construction or farm depth.

Obviously he will get a pro job. Probably an NHL assistant for a few years or maybe some team scoops him up after another head coach gets fired just like Monty and just like Knoblach last year for the Oilers. Didn’t have bad numbers with the blues- just Monty is a better coach.

North Bay is here and practicing at the arena right now. The Greyhounds players are mostly here as well. All of the roads downtown are clear and the parking lot is plowed. I'm not really sure why they would cancel the game.

Maybe to save the fans from traveling?
I suppose so. It hasn't really snowed much since they announced the cancellation, but they couldn't have known that. I just figured they would play without fans in a scenario where the teams were already there.

I think it's a rather unusual situation. Usually the visiting team can't make it and they postpone.
