The return of Mignosa to the lineup has been huge! 5th goal last night and a shorty to boot. 3 assists on all the power play goals as well. Suddenly doubling our pp efficiency in one game! (It was that bad😏!
Having two capable goaltenders makes for some interesting coaching decisions, game to game. Schenkel with a 32/32 night and his fifth career SO
He won OHL player of the week for his troubles.

I have been given the impression by a couple of people that Cali's camp lied to the team. As for Croskery, that could possibly be part of it
Cali used the Soo as leverage and it was obvious on social media by members of his previous team and others who were commenting “ZONKED the Soo” and more when he announced his commitment.

Raftis got played, its okay it happens to the best of us.

One can only hope that’s what Raftis was thinking during our draft.
100% was not part of the plan or he wouldn’t have traded Cali’s rights LOL

I can imagine Raftis is NOW thinking “ wow this can save my draft” lol

Judging by his earlier comments, I can see maybe croskery entertaining that scenario, but must have known writing was on the wall about cali.

The Soo
salvaging something from a bad draft is probably more accurate eh Joe?

so if he never reports to NB we get a 1st and a 6th round pick... and if he plays a single game in the OHL we also get a second and a fourth-round pick in 2028, and a seventh-round selection in 2027. Is that accurate?

I think that's pretty much what I said, just in fewer words. I'm honestly not super concerned. We get another pick next year, so it's hardly a disaster or anything.

That might be the worst game I've ever seen us play. Credit to London, but they weren't amazing or anything. Just an awful effort by us other than Charlie.

I think it’s a disaster. It’s been a disaster.

I think 98% of people around the league think so. I know for sure the Leafs scout I talked to last night at the game had a chuckle about how disastrous of a draft we had.

Not super concerned is probably what the yes men around Raftis are saying to make him feel better.

The Soo
the giant hole in our 2008 year class is very concerning and no amount of delulu gaslighting or make up picks change that so i have to agree with Joe. between that problem, and the holes in our draft picks, there's a lot of work to do.

Oof. What an ass whooping.

One of those games that really puts into perspective, it’s not our year, let’s sell off.

One draft pick isn’t going to fix it. The NCAA ruling today may fix it, but it won’t be a pat on Kyles back like he saved the day….. that’s just ridiculous haha
