It's a pretty weak catcher pool these days and if he walks they'll literally have nothing as plan B. There isn't much in free agency this year. LA always only worries about the short term and never worries about what years 5-10 will look like. They really don't care. They'll just spend to fix any deficiencies they encounter down the road.

Well, game 1 of 162 starts tomorrow. Here's hoping for a stellar year for the Blue Jays, to be honest I don't know what to make of them. That division is gonna be a fight, also the wild card should be a competitive one.

It'll all come down to starting pitching, the bullpen and some timely hitting.
