OT - NO POLITICS Spring has sprung

The fact that YOU can see that person is masking is an incredible quality. Yet, comes with some burden like you said. (you are a truth-teller, and that can be hard)
Honestly, I worked so many toxic jobs in my past that my body, at 57, is really taking a hit. Gut dysbiosis, inflammatory markers, cortisol level, etc.
You can get out (I know, not ideal). If you stay, you might have to learn to turn away from it, and find a way of allowing yourself to let it go daily so it doesn't hurt your heart of body long term.

Honestly, if I didn't know about it first hand then I'd never have figured it out, so it's really not an incredible quality on my part as much as I would love to take credit for it lol

I can't get out, no chance. I turn away best I can. Yes, I am forced to confront it daily. Often times multiple times throughout the day. As weird as it sounds, I've been trying to think about it deeper when the negativity enters my brain. I can't ignore it, so my philosophy has shifted to becoming ok/accepting/comfortable with the (VERY) uncomfortable. It's been, 7 months of this. I'm still struggling. Mostly I'm fine. Some days it just eats away at me though.

Not sure what it has been like in MA but up here in VT we have had quite the run of Rainy weekends and Sunny weekdays. Probably since early March. Really ruined the end of my ski year.
