OT - NO POLITICS Spring has sprung

As one who loves his new air fryer, I wish you the joy of your instapot. (I do not really have room for one unless I dump my old croc pot.)
I have an instant pot duo crisp which has both slow cook and air fryer capabilities. But it's probably 70% as effective as either standalone device

I guess my newly sealed window is getting tested tonight with the prolific rain we are getting. I still put towels along it and the other windows. I think we will be ok storm wise but I’m glad I took most of today to rest. A little too much running around after getting home on top of some mild jet lag finally caught up with me.

Same here. I don't think I'd ever use it as a slow cooker. It does ok as an air fryer for my needs.

I actually have two Instant Pots (don't ask lol) and used the older one last night. Funny enough, I set it and a few minutes later wondered if I had set the knob to "sealing." I had been using the newer one recently which automatically sets it. When I went to check, discovered that while it was set to sealing, I had selected slow cook instead of pressure cook.

Tonight's episode of the Last Of Us felt like an episode of peak Game Of Thrones. Incredible episode and well shot. Apparently, the blizzard conditions were mostly authentic, which is crazy.

My neighbor set me up with some mint and basil  I've always wanted to grow herbs but not indoors in an apartment.

Hopefully the deer will leave them alone...

Fresh herbs are the best, but be sure to keep up with pruning because mint will take over the entire pot and choke out the basil. Also, don't let the basil bolt (i.e. produce flowers), if you see any buds forming at the top pinch them off.
