About to go into full Steve Martin mode as the agent in St. Louis booked me on a flight to the wrong Boston airport and because I accepted the room I am now locked in.
With the upcoming Boston Marathon coming soon I thought I would post this by David Crosby and Graham Nash (to honor Boston)Remembering Martin, Krystle, Lingzi, Sean and DJ today and always.
I will never forget that week and how this site allowed us all to come together whether it was to share location updates because the phone lines were down and then with the investigation leading up to what was likely the one time where every single board on HF’s was in our thread listening to the police scanner along with us. I will never forget the unity, love and support from other boards.
A special shout out to @EverettMike. He was an absolute rockstar that entire week. He really kept us all together.
Boston Strong. This is Our f***ing City.
One of the strangest weeks I can remember. The lockdown. The police scanner threads. A very very weird rollercoaster of emotions that we all sat throughRemembering Martin, Krystle, Lingzi, Sean and DJ today and always.

I vividly remember our conversations in the threads about the train and the feeling down there as we navigated the familiar, yet changed streets to work. I saved every text and message I got that day and a rollercoaster is the perfect way to describe that entire week. One of the strangest weeks I can remember. The lockdown. The police scanner threads. I really did not feel comfortable on trains after that. To this day I’m still not all that cool with public transportationI vividly remember our conversations in the threads about the train and the feeling down there as we navigated the familiar, yet changed streets to work. I don't particularly care for it myself but it is better than the alternative (driving into the city).I really did not feel comfortable on trains after that. To this day I’m still not all that cool with public transportation
Not at the moment, just felt like a good day to post that image-it's from 2013ishAre you back in Boston?
We talk about that all the time. Never experienced any energy like that since. One of the strangest weeks I can remember. The lockdown. The police scanner threads. A very very weird rollercoaster of emotions that we all sat through
