Updates

Knee replacement is going pretty well. Other knee had way more swelling, entire leg...this is only knee.
Less flexible, more strength than before... it was way worse going in.

Maine house construction delayed hopefully just until summer.

We decided to say the hell with it, sell here, and move to Maine then start ,(bank helped with that decision). Going through the presale punch list , moving sale first week of May, listing the next week.

Wife is searching for a Vet job, once she gets that we can have a real plan. A couple of possibilities

Going through the house we decided everyone should have a pretend moving sale every 7-10 years to get rid of the accumulated stuff

With apologies to those of you with snow on the ground....

It is 55 degrees here, sunny. I have all but two windows in the house open. The fresh air is GLORIOUS.

I never opened the blinds in my apartment, much less the windows. Too many neighbors too close by, and I didn't need the people out on the sidewalk in my business.

But now I have a nice big yard, with shade trees, and it is fantastic.

It is 55 degrees here, sunny. I have all but two windows in the house open. The fresh air is GLORIOUS.

40 degrees, windy, rainy and raw. The wind and dampness certainly makes it feel much colder than it really is.

My kind of weather. Unfortunate that the kids are stuck inside, but we will persevere! Just finished a family round of Clue Jr. The full grocery run we made yesterday has been severely depleted, and summer vacation plans are being discussed. It could be worse!

That's why I love this neighborhood. It's older and the houses aren't on top of each other.

Just down the street is a newer development with bigger houses.... and there is maybe a dozen feet of clearance between them. They just keep squeezing more and more houses into every last bit of green space around here. Ugh.

No wonder we have wandering herds of deer.

We open windows even with snow on the ground. We have a backsplit, so upstairs is always too warm for my liking. Opening the windows is beautiful! I love cool air which is why the windows are closed more in the summer....lol

I haven't watched a single hole of the PGA since they announced their merger with LIV. I miss the Masters. Hope Rory runs away with it.
